As always, Bjorn Lomborg gives cause for optimism – that extreme poverty has never been lower in the world.
From 1820 when more than 90% of people were living in extreme poverty, today only 8.6% do – that’s more than 90% reduction.
We must not lose sight of these wins over long run when troubled with minor (in larger scheme of things) issues of the day.
